Stepping Up to Algebra - Incoming 7th Grade

The following 52 lesson plans are Silicon Valley Education Foundation’s (SVEF) Stepping Up To Algebra (SUTA) intervention program, designed to help prepare incoming 7th graders to successfully complete Algebra I when they get to the 8th grade through a 75-hour summer preparatory program. SUTA provides students classroom instruction by a credentialed teacher following this curriculum created specifically for this program and a recommended technology component reinforcing the lesson plans through practice tools and games. These 45 minutes - 1 hour lesson plans address known problem areas in 6th grade math standards.
