The 14-Day Experiment |
| Subject: |
English Language Arts |
| |
Grade: |
7,8,9,10,11,12 |
| |
Description: |
The 14-Day Experiment asks students to adopt or change a habit in their daily lives for 14 days and challenges them to experience something new or unfamiliar.
The purpose of this experiment is two-fold:
• First, the experiment invites students to temporarily change a practice or habit in their lives so that they can examine what it means to them and how it affects their lives and perhaps the lives of others.
• Second, as this will be a project of the each student’s own choosing, my hope is that it will provide a rich, relevant, and authentic experience to inspire deeper reading, writing, and critical thinking.
